canal bridge featured in CD album art

Sorry for the lack of updates in the past month, but the editor has been under the weather for the past two weeks and there has been nothing to post.

Last August, myself and several other people went filming of various major bridges in the St. Louis area, which included the canal bridge.  One of the people in this group took this picture (it was Friday afternoon peak period of all times that picture was taken) during that session.  Well a musician from Louisiana asked and received permission from that photographer and it became the album cover of his latest CDUpdate 8/4/2012 at 02:21:  The photographer posted an entry on his blog about the CD cover.

This morning peak period did not exactly go off without an hitch.

yellow tanker is the stall, it takes several minutes for it to limp off the bridge and onto the Riverview exit

traffic backed up due to the stall

In just the 15 minutes it takes for the stalled tanker to clear, traffic backs up to the Route 203 exit during the morning peak.  It takes about 20 minutes for traffic to return to normal.
