Monday morning got off to a rough start, with a incident in the eastbound lanes at the Route 3 interchange that happened shortly before 06:00 and takes 45 minutes to clear.  With IDOT live feed cameras down at this time, live feed stills cannot be provided.  Although it was not raining at the time, the pavement was wet from the rain that happened on Sunday.

Rough weather may be encountered during the Tuesday evening peak period.  The National Weather Service has labeled the area at a slight risk of severe weather (15% to 30% chance) for tomorrow evening.  The main threat will be straight line winds, which can potentially topple tractor-trailers.  Please drive with caution and stayed tuned to local media when the weather turns bad.
