4 incidents in the past 2 days

Posted: 2013/04/05 in accident, stall

For the second morning in a row, an incident occurred near the canal bridge.  This incident involved an tractor-trailer that overturned on the embankment on the eastbound lanes right before the canal bridge.  Although the mainline lanes were not blocked due to this incident, it made the morning news on one local television station.

Yesterday morning, there was an incident west of Route 3 in the westbound lanes that did block the mainline lanes.  Various people sent tweets to both @sjdayley and @y98lance about it, especially @gingerdoll5.  Twitter users confirmed that the incident caused a backup that went back towards 255.  It takes little more than an hour to clear this incident.

In addition to these incidents there were two unrelated stalls that happened east of Riverview during the day today.
